Asia LPG prices recovered on Sept. 15.
However, they lag the $10.96/mt rise in ICE November Brent crude oil futures
from the previous Asian close. This was because of increased demand ahead of
winter. There was ample regional supply. H1 October CFR North Asia propane rose $5/mt to $691/mt on
the last day. H1 October CFR North Asia
propane to Oct CP swaps increased $3/mt on the day to $35/on mt September 15. The discount on H1 October delivery propane to butane
narrowed by $2/mt to $38/mt on September 15. September 15th saw two bids, but no offers in the physical
market. One trade was made. Chevron
received a bid from Axpo for a 23,000 mt propane...
