LPG prices in Asia fell Dec. 28, but not as
much as the $6.16-7.25/mt drop of February Brent crude futures. This was due to
strong demand during the North Asian winter. Front-cycle H2 North Asia January-delivery
propane Dec. 28, down $2/mt on day at $619.5/mt. The premium
for H2 January CFR North Asia propane and January CP swaps increased $1/mt on
day at $40.5/mt December 28. H2 January-delivery Butane was
unchanged at $8-9/mt to propane Dec. 28. There were
four bids, but no offers, in the physical market Dec. 28. No trade was seen. Vitol
offered 23,000 mt propane for H1 February delivery at FEI February plus $24-29/mt
