Asia LPG recovers slightly
but stays around two-month lows May FEI propane discount
to MOPJ naphtha narrows by $18/mt



Asia LPG prices rose
slightly on April 26th but remained at about two-month lows. This was despite
the $6-7/mt rise in June ICE Brent crude oil futures. This is due to soft
market sentiment. Asia propane was $800-810/mt on April 26,
up to $2-3/mt over the previous day. CFR
North Asia butane was priced $9-12/mt higher than propane, and $8-12/mt less
than the previous session. On April 26,
the discount for H2 May delivery propane and May CP swap was set at $50-55/mt.
This steepening of $8-12/mt occurred on that day. There were four bids and two offers in the physical market
