Asia LPG recovers though lag Brent rise Taiwan's
Formosa buys 46,000 mt propane for H1 June



Asia LPG prices recovered
on May 6th but fell behind the $20-25/mt increase of July ICE Brent crude oil
futures from the previous Asian closing. This was due to a pause in buying
interest in June cargoes. Commodity Insights
valued H1 June CFR North Asia propane at $828-840/mt on May 6, up to $6.5/mt from
the previous day. CFR North Asia butane
was rated $8-10/mt higher than propane, a decrease of $10-15/mt from the
previous session. On May 6, the premium
for H1 June delivery propane and June CP swap was $10-12/mt. This is $1-2/mt
less than on the previous session. There
were two offers and one bid in the physical market on May 6, but no trade...
