Asia LPG prices rose slightly on Sept. 29
despite the $18.16/mt increase in ICE November Brent crude oil futures from the
previous Asian close. This was due to balanced market activity, where there was
ample supply being offset by fresh Chinese demand. H2 October CFR North Asia
propane was up $1.50/mt over the previous day, at $611/mt September 29. The premium for H2 October CFR North Asia propane to October
CP swaps grew $1.50/mt over the previous day to $21/mt. The H2 October delivery propane-butane to propane discount
remained steady at $30/mt day-on-day on Sept. 29. On Sept. 29, there was only one bid and one offer in the
