Asia LPG prices fell on
May 5, despite the $13.68-18.25/mt gain recorded in July ICE Brent crude oil
futures. The previous Asian close was closed at 1:38 PM. Fresh demand from
Indonesia and the petrochemical industry was matched by a healthy supply of
first-half June CFR North Asia propane at $820-840/mt. This is $5-10/mt less
than the previous Asian close. CFR North Asia butane was valued $11-16/mt
higher than propane, down $1-2/mt over the previous day. On May 5, the premium of H1 June delivery propane to June CP
Swap was assessed at $12-16/mt. This is down $3.50-4.75/mt. There were two offers in the physical market on May 5, but
