MTBE was valued at $1,898-1,930/mt FOB AR, up to 35 75/mt daily, due to higher gasoline
prices in Northwest Europe. European MTBE's premium stood at $505. 75-520.25/mt FOB AR since no
activity was observed during the Market on Close evaluation process. According to a producer,
"availability and demand are very high." Despite imports from the Persian Gulf, the tight market
conditions were likely to continue. After
expanding by $59-65., the front-month gasoline spread and front-month naphtha
