APL resumes operation at Oxo-alcohols plant

The Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd (APL) has restarted its Oxo-alcohols plant. A domestic industry source informed a team member, “The company has recently resumed operations at the plant following an unplanned outage. The plant had been offline due to a leakage.” Located in Vishakhapatnam, India, the oxo-alcohols plant has 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) production capacity of 44,000 mt/year, isobutanol (IBA) production capacity of 3,000 mt/year, and n-butanol (NBA) production capacity of 26,000 mt/year.
