A source in Thailand informed a team member, “The company has tentatively scheduled a maintenance turnaround for the unit around November 1, 2025. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unconfirmed, as official confirmation from a reliable source has not been obtained.” Located at Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the caustic soda unit has production capacity of 870,000 mt/year.
