AGC is planning to shut its caustic soda plant for maintenance turnaround. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The plant is likely to be taken off-stream in mid-February 2026. It is slated to remain offline for about one month.” Located in Chiba, Japan, the caustic soda plant has total production capacity of 381,000 mt/year.
