week ending Nov. 9. Sellers offered lower prices as a result. Spot prices
for high-density PET film grades from CFR Turkey fell $90/mt over the week to
$1,030/mt. There were several offers for polyethylene during the weak, as
sellers wanted to get rid of material before the new year. The LDPE market
was being pressured by competitively priced Saudi Arabian offers, while the
HDPE market received low prices from the US. Sources claimed that even
with the drop in prices, there was still little demand and no appetite for
