Asian ACN prices stable amid tight supply and slow SEA/NEA demand / SEA and NEA SEA: Prices rise, but do not pull up prices despite low demand / South Asia is seeing more trading with smaller lots

The Asian acrylonitrile price was stable on 1 April, with CFR Far East Asia and CFR Southeast Asia both at $1.250/mt. This is in line with the discussions and a flat NEA - SEA spread. East China's domestic prices were higher than a week earlier. They were discussed at about Yuan 9,300-9400/mt. This was up from the selling indications of Yuan 8,800/mt one week before. There was no change in demand for ACN, or acrylic fiber downstream in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. A buyer reported tradable indicators for CFR Southeast Asia, CFR Northeast Asia, and CFR South Asia around $1,180/mt. Sources said that in South Asia, CFR India deals for the second half were traded.
