South Asia ACN: Prices stable amid unchanged discussion and thin trade Far East Asia Market Stable -CFR Southeast Asia marker at $1,250/mt

South Asian acrylonitrile prices stabilized during the week of April 8, after a continuous month of rate declines amid low trading volume and no change in discussion levels. Data shows that the ACN South Asia mark dropped $125/mt from March 11 to $1,175/mt on April 8. A trader said that the recent drop in India ACN was caused by an oversupply on adjacent markets. Meanwhile, the influx of cheaper cargo seems to be slowing. A trader said that the ACN price has bottomed and prices could gradually increase due to the tightening of availability. A trader said that the market is still weak, as there are few suppliers who will discuss at $1,150-1,160/mt because buyers have limited interest.
