AA: The Indian market for acetic acids was stable or firmer due to a balanced supply and demand fundamentals, and high international prices. CFR India discussions improved slightly week-over-week, with offers in the range $375 - $380/mt heard for cargoes shipped in July. Around $360-$365/mt was the range of offers heard for cargoes shipped in July. Early in the week, about 1,000 mt were traded at $375/mt CIF India. The market fundamentals improved in the week ending June 20, amid increased tensions in Middle East, before declining on June 23, after an agreement between Iran and Israel to cease fire. The high FOB China price and the freight cost of $55-60/mt for the China-West Coast India route kept offers in a range week after week. Kandla inventory for the week...
