Acetic Acid: The Indian acetic acid market continued to remain soft amid weaker fundamentals. India domestic ex-tank prices were softer around Rupee 34.50-34.75/kg at Kandla and at Rupee 35/kg at Mumbai port. The decline in domestic prices was mostly tied to weaker international prices and soft demand. While port inventory was limited, falling prices in China weighed on market prices. "Kandla port inventory was last recorded around 15,000 mt as of mid-November; however, at least two cargoes unloaded after that, with another 8,000-10,000 mt expected soon," a market source said. December-loading offers were heard in the $380-$385/mt CFR India range, LC 90 days with counter bids/buying interest heard at $360/mt CFR levels LC 90 days.
