Asian ABS: Prices are rangebound and fewer orders as customers remain cautious Buying activity is weak / China ABS run rate drops by 2.69% WOW

The Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene CFR China marker at $1,350/mt April 23, stable from the last assessment on April 16, and below the sharpest offers heard at $1,380/mt. This assessment takes into account the lower upstream costs of feedstocks. CFR Southeast Asia at $1360/mt on April 23, an increase of $10/mt over the previous assessment made on April 16. This is below the sharpest bid heard at $1380/mt, and also considering that the CFR SE Asia mark heard was $5-$20/mt more expensive than the CFR China. China-based producer stated that "customers are more cautious and there are less orders right now."
