under pressure with falling crude. February
ICE Brent crude oil fell $3.33/b on the day at $79.36/b by 0830 GMT in Asian
trading. This was due to recession fears and a dip below $80/b in Asian trade. Sources said that ABS market demand was still slow, but
margins for domestic Chinese producers remained strong. ABS domestic prices were heard at $1,312.20/mt. CFR China was heard stable at $1300/mt. CFR Southeast Asia
was heard at around $1,300/mt. Styrene
monomer prices rose $17/mt to $972/mt China Dec. 7, but were also lower by
$30/mt on the day after reaching levels...
