South Asia PE: Market largely steady as participants await clarity / LLDPE at $935/mt / South Asian HDPE film at $925/mt

The South Asian polyethylene market saw stable prices for most PE grades in the week to July 23 as trade participants adopted a wait-and-watch approach to seek clarity on price trends in the coming days. Despite some international suppliers pitching material at higher rates for HDPE and LLDPE grades, the moderate to soft demand in the monsoon season limited a further increase in tradable levels, sources said.
