Asian nylon-6 prices were stable in the week to July 30, supported by stronger feedstock costs despite persistently weak demand. "Upstream costs are higher now, so downstream [nylon-6] prices have to follow," a producer said. "However, demand remains unimproved, so the hike might be short-lived." Another producer source noted that demand remained weak, with a focus on the domestic market rather than exports.
