Nan Ya Plastics mulls turnaround at No.1 MEG unit

Nan Ya Plastics is likely to take off stream its No.1 Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Mailiao. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is in plans to halt operations at the unit by October 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No.1 MEG unit has a production capacity of 460,000 mt/year.
