Asian PVC prices were stable to weak in the week to Aug. 6, with Chinese domestic prices falling amid thin demand. PVC CFR China unchanged week over week at $700/mt, in line with stable tradable indications heard at $700/mt. A Northeast Asian producer said PVC prices remained stable, as PVC inventory had been "sold out for August". In the domestic market, East China domestic ethylene-based PVC down Yuan 50/mt week over week at Yuan 5,050/mt Aug. 6, in line with tradable indications heard at Yuan 4,900-5,150/mt.
