Asian FOB Singapore MTBE was sharply lower
at $106.50/mt, $925.37/mt on Aug. 31, following a drop in the 92 RON gasoline
marker which fell $11.21/b and $97.31/b. FOB Singapore's MTBE factor remained unchanged at 1.125.
This was due to the unchanged spread between 95 and 92 RON gasoline from one
day earlier. The spread between 92 and 95
RON gasoline was steady at $2.83/b. On
Aug. 31, the 92 RON crack dropped to minus 0.01 from 3.98 on the previous day. According to a source, traders cited a number of factors for
the drop in Asian gasoline prices on August 31. These included the technical
selloff on US RBOB Brent spread and sharply lower crude...
