Seqens to shut No.1 solvents plant for maintenance

Seqens is likely to take off stream its No.1 phenol and acetone plant in Roussillon. A source in France informed a team member, “The company is in plans to undertake a maintenance at the plant by August 2025. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located at Roussillon, France, the No.1 plant has phenol production capacity of 65,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 40,000 mt/year.
