Asahi Kasei restarts ACN unit

Asahi Kasei has brought on stream its Acrylonitrile (ACN) unit in Mizushima. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the unit on July 20, 2025 following a turnaround. The unit was shut for maintenance in mid-May 2025.” Located in Mizushima, Japan, the unit has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
