Downstream ABS stable WOW / South Korea's Taekwang to restart ACN unit after 30 days maintenance

Acrylonitrile stable week over week at $1,115/mt CFR Far East Asia on July 29, amid prevailing discussions Domestic Chinese prices were heard at Yuan 8,000-8,100/mt ex-tank, steady from the previous week. Downstream acrylic fiber factories were heard to be running at a stable rate, while acrylonitrile producers were under cost pressures due to high propylene prices. Propylene was assessed unchanged at $769/mt CFR China on July 29. Chinese acrylonitrile producers were heard to be running at 70%-75% capacity, largely unchanged from the previous week. the downstream Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene CFR China marker at $1,295/mt on July 23, stable week over week.
