Total Energies resumes operations at cracker

Total Energies has restarted its cracker in Gonfreville. A source in France informed a team member, “The company has brought the cracker on stream in early August 2025. The cracker was shut for maintenance in mid-April 2025 with operations originally slated to restart by mid-June 2025.” Located in Gonfreville, France, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 525,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 260,000 mt/year.
