Sinopec Great Wall ramps up run rates at Acetic acid plant

Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical has raised run rates at its acetic acid plant in Ningxia. A source in China informed a team member, “Run rates at the plant were raised to around 90% of prodcution capacity levels in early August 2025. The plant has been operational at approximately 60% of its production capacity rates since July 18, 2025.” Located in Ningdong, Ningxia in China, the plant has a production capacity of 410,000 mt/year.
