Moeve Quimica to start maintenance at solvents plant

Moeve Quimica (Shanghai) is likely to take off stream its phenol and acetone plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has planned to shut the plant in August 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Shanghai, China, the plant has a phenol production capacity of 350,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 210,000 mt/year.
