Petro China Fushun to undertake planned maintenance at MEK plant

Petro China Fushun Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is likely to halt operations at the plant by mid-August 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown couldn’t be ascertained.” Located in Fushun, Liaoning in China, the unit has a production capacity of 30,000 mt/year.
