Offers stable WOW for acetone / Benzene falls by $9.33/mt, propylene down $8/mt WOW

Asian phenol and acetone prices were assessed stable to weaker week over week, amid stable indications heard week over week. Upstream benzene fell $9.33/mt week over week to $735.67/mt FOB Korea, while propylene fell $8/mt to $730/mt FOB Korea on Aug. 5. In CFR Southeast Asia acetone markets, offers were heard to remain stable week over week, said market sources. Tradeable indications, too, were heard stable at approximately $670-$680/mt. A tradeable indication for an FOB China cargo was heard at $610/mt. "I think [the CFR Southeast Asia market] is stable. Local prices are also stable at a low level," said a source in Southeast Asia.
