India PVC: Prices firm as inventories run low / Domestic prices at Rupees 69-70/kg / Asian market sees mixed indications

CFR India PVC suspension grade at $730/mt July 30, up $15/mt week over week, amid lower inventories. A major producer, which announced its offers for export into India at $730/mt in the week ended July 25, was heard to have sold a large volume. Other producers said they also had sold some volumes at the same prices, and continued to offer at this level. Market participants also said inventories are now low, as limited imports have come into the country over the last two months. Domestic markets were also heard firmer at around Rupees 69-70/kg.
