ACETONE: US spot Acetone was priced at
$728/mt FOB USG January 3, stable from December 20, and based on the last known
pricing of $730/mt. Domestic acetone contract assessments
for truck and railcar were assessed at 44.5c/lb ($981/mt), in line with
stability on the spot market. PHENOL: The US spot phenol price was
$1,052-1,092/mt FOB USG. This is stable since Dec. 20. Last-heard
pricing of benzene plus an additional 8.5 cents/lb informed the assessment. Domestic
phenol for truck or rail car was valued at $1,816-1,856/mt (82.37c/lb) and is
stable until Dec. 20, subject to confirmation of contracts. IPA: US
isopropyl alcohol has been stable since Dec. 20, at $1,090-1,130/mt FOB US
Gulf. This was despite limited market activity...
