Yeochun NCC (YNCC) lowers run rates at BD plant

Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has reduced run rates at its butadiene (BD) plant in Yeosu. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is in plans to operate the plant at around 70% of production capacity levels in August 2025. The curtailed rates have been attributed to the shutdown of its No. 3 cracker due to economic reasons. Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the plant has a production capacity of 378,000 mt/year.
