stable in the week ending Nov. 16, on thin trade. The outlook on
Asian polymers was bearish because of a strong US dollar, low-priced local
stocks and poor demand due to converters not having business. Some producers were
looking for products that had higher margins and pricing stability. Sources say that the strong US dollar has slowed Asian
import demand. Inflation was reducing
consumers' disposable earnings, which led to lower consumptions of
many plastics. Although there wasn't
much information about downstream factories' export manufacturing, sources
indicated that there was little to no clarity. However, this led to lower
