density polyethylene fell in the week ending February 22nd. The ICE April Brent crude
oil contract fell $1.36/b on the day to $82.38/b by 4:30 PM Singapore time
(0830 GMT), Feb. 22. After the RCEP rule
was established in 2022, South Korean traders were allowed to ship duty-free to
certain countries in Southeast Asia. However, the impact of this ruling has
been minimal as Southeast Asian demand is low. Traders stated that the RCEP free trade agreement has had a
significant impact on the region's trades. It also helped to regionalize trades
